Visitor Visas

Visitor visas to Australia allow entry, transit, or stay in the country for tourism or short-term business purposes. There are different types of visitor visas, including the Visitor visa (subclass 600) and the eVisitor visa (subclass 651). 

Visitor Visa (subclass 600)

  • Genuinely intend to visit Australia temporarily

  • Not intend to work whilst in Australia

  • Not intend to study for more than 3 months whilst in Australia

  • Have, or have access to, adequate means to support yourself for the duration of your visit

  • Intend to comply with all visa conditions and stay periods

eVisitor Visa (subclass 651)

  • Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Republic of San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom – British Citizen, Vatican City

If your main reason for travelling to Australia is study, consider a Student Visa.

If you would like to be able to work in Australia, consider a Working Holiday Visa, one of the Employer Sponsored Work Visas or a Skilled Visa.
